Over the past few years a number of campaigns and initiatives have been introduced into the UK and Ireland, all of which are intended to assist the authorities in finding children quickly if they should be reported as missing.

With most of these campaigns it is important that parents and members of the public in general are aware of how they may assist the authorities in helping to find missing children safely.
The Missing Children TV website is designed with you in mind and to help us address some of the important issues regarding the safety and welfare of our Children.

It is important to understand that nearly all children reported missing are found safely and kidnapping and abductions are extremely rare. Nevertheless, it is always important to find a lost child quickly and the authorities throughout the world agree that it is in the first few hours after a child goes missing that it is most important to find them safely.

Missing Children TV is committed in helping the spreading of Awareness of important campaigns now introduced by the Police and others to help find missing children.

We would encourage you to read through the raising awareness section that will help in understanding what is being done, how you can support parents if their child should go missing and how you can assist the authorities should this happen to your child.
